The legendary Portuguese striker is set to hit an incredible goalscoring mark.

Cristiano Ronaldo will play until he is 41. This was announced by the Saudi Al-Nasr striker himself.

In addition, the Portuguese footballer named the main goal that he wants to achieve before the end of his career.

The 39-year-old said he aims to score 1,000 goals before he hangs up his boots.

“I have scored the most goals in the history of the world, but I will raise the level even further, soon I will score 900 goals, and after that I will break the 1000 mark.

I’ll try to play until I’m 41, so I said I want to live in the moment. But if I don’t have injuries, that’s the most important thing to me, I want to get 1000.

I like it because for me it is the best score I can get in football. Be the first to reach the 900 goal mark. After that, my challenge is to be the first to score 1000 goals. With one difference – all the goals I’ve scored are on video, I can prove it,” Ronaldo said on his YouTube channel.

Note that the legendary Brazilian Pele scored 1279 goals in his career, but only 757 were confirmed.

Earlier it was reported that Ronaldo was again included in the Guinness Book of Records.
