Artem Slipenchuk and Artem Pokoenko did not return to Ukraine after training camp
Trainer Ukrainian national team And Cherkasy Mavp Artem Slipenchukand also a youth player Ukrainian national team And BC Zaporozhye Artem Pokoenko received a lifetime disqualification from FBU.
The reason for this is the fact that Slipenchuk and Pokoenko did not return to Ukraine after training camps this summer within the timeframes specified by the relevant FBU orders.
Given the lack of any confirmation of a return to Ukraine and the inadmissibility of such actions by members of official delegations of Ukrainian national teams in the future, the FBU Executive Committee has banned Slipenchuk and Pokoenko for life from any basketball activities in Ukraine.
34-year-old Slipenchuk was previously the head coach of Kryvbas and the Ukrainian U-20 team. The specialist was also part of Ainars Bagatskis’s staff at Kyiv-Basket, and recently headed Cherkasy Monkeys. 20-year-old Pokoenko played for BC Zaporizhia last season of the FAVBET Super League.
