Anatoly Trubin’s Benfica will play against Barcelona, Bayern, Atletico, Juventus, Feyenoord, Crvena Zvezda, Bologna and Monaco.
Viktor Tsygankov’s Girona rivals: Liverpool, PSG, Arsenal, Milan, Feyenoord, PSV, Slovan Bratislava and Sturm.

The Champions League group stage starts on September 17, 2024 and ends on January 29, 2025. Points will be counted in the overall standings. The top eight teams will advance to the 1/8 finals directly. The remaining eight spots will be played out in a knockout round among the teams ranked 9th to 24th. The teams ranked 25th to 36th will no longer compete in European competitions.
The final schedule and kick-off times for the group stage matches will be announced later, on August 31, to avoid clashes with Europa League and Conference League teams that may play in the same city on the same day.
