Spanish Albacete officially announced that the Venezuelan striker Giovanni Bolivar will spend the 2024/25 season on loan at Kolose.
The forward is 22 years old. He became a player of the club, which now represents Segunda, in January last year. Giovanni spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Huesca – 22 matches, without scoring.
Bolivar is a player of the Venezuela U-23 national team. In the Olympic qualification of early 2024, he played in the starting lineup in all 7 matches, scoring three goals. In these matches, Bolivar won the competition from two representatives of the UPL – Kevin Kelsey from Shakhtar and Luifer Hernandez from Poliesia.
Kolos had a poor start to the current season – two points in four rounds and the penultimate place in the championship, as well as a penalty exit from Obolon in the Cup. In the next round, Alexander Pozdeev’s team will play away against Alexandria on August 31.
