Male And Women’s National Basketball Team of Ukraine 3×3 in the age category U-18 finished performing at World Championship 2024which takes place in Debrecen, Hungary.
The young men stopped one step away from the medals – in the match for third place they lost to their peers from France with a score of 12:21. The French managed to take revenge for the dramatic defeat in the group stage (20:21).
The Ukrainian girls, in turn, won all three matches in the group stage, but stumbled in the first round of the playoffs, losing to the Chinese team – 16:20. Elina Siniakova showed an effective game (8 points), but this was not enough for success.
Let us recall that last week the adult women’s national team of Ukraine in 3×3 basketball also stopped at the quarter-final stage of the European Championship.
