The match of the 3rd round of the EPL will start at 17:00 Kyiv time
Ukrainian midfielder Egor Yarmolyuk will start the home match on the bench Brentford against Southampton in the third round EPL.
The 20-year-old midfielder has been playing for the Bees since 2022. At first, Yegor was a player for Brentford’s reserve team, and then he was transferred to the main team – 30 matches (none full), two yellow cards in the 2023/24 season. The Ukrainian’s contract with the club runs until 2028. This summer, Yegor changed his jersey number at the club from 33 to 18.
In the first two rounds of the Premier League, Yarmolyuk was always on the bench – both against Crystal Palace at home (2:1) and away against Liverpool (0:2). However, he played all 90 minutes in the away match of the English League Cup against Colchester (1:0).
Southampton, having returned to the Premier League, started the season with two defeats – both by a score of 0:1.
