Ukrainian Youth Hockey Team (U-18) became the winner of the international tournament Olympic Hopes Tournament.
At the competition, which has already become traditional for them, the blue-yellows managed to win all three matches – and in each of them the Ukrainian young men were behind in the score, but found the strength and opportunity to turn the tide of the game and make a comeback.
In the decisive match, Ukraine managed to break Poland’s resistance. Let us recall that two years ago, the Ukrainian youth team of the corresponding age took fourth place in the same tournament – then the blue-yellows also met their Polish peers in the third round, but lost.
We would also like to remind you that another Ukrainian youth team (in the U-17 category) recently won silver at the Trinec Open Cup tournament, which took place in the Czech Republic.
