Citizens’ third consecutive win at the start of the new Premier League
In the third round match of the English Championship Manchester City won away West Ham with a score of 3:1.
Erling Haaland scored his latest goal in the new Premier League season early in the game. The hosts equalized a few minutes later after Ruben Dias sent the ball into his own net. But in the 30th minute, Manchester City took the lead again – Haaland scored a brace.
After the break, both teams had chances to score, but at the end of the game the Norwegian striker managed to score again, scoring a hat-trick for the second match in a row.
Manchester City have nine points and lead the English Premier League table, while West Ham are in 13th place.
In the next round of the Premier League, Manchester City will play against Yegor Yarmolyuk’s Brentford, and West Ham will play against Fulham.
