Former Shakhtar and Chelsea winger Willian could become Yaremchuk’s partner at Olympiacos

The Brazilian veteran enjoyed a good season at Fulham but has been a free agent since July

Winger Willianknown for his performances for Miner And Chelseamay soon become a player of the Greek Olympiacos.

As it became known, the 36-year-old Brazilian intends to visit Athens to hold talks about a possible transfer. In Greece, unlike in the top European championships, the transfer window is still open – and will remain so until September 11.

Let us recall that Willian played for Shakhtar Donetsk from 2007 to 2012. As part of the Miners, the Brazilian won the 2009 UEFA Cup, four Ukrainian championships, and won the Ukrainian Cup and Super Cup three times.

From 2013 to 2020, the left winger defended the colors of Chelsea. In 2022, he joined Fulham, and last summer he was extended for another year. In the 2023/24 season, the Brazilian played 37 matches for the Dachniki, scored five goals and gave two assists. The club and the player decided not to extend their relationship.

Ukrainian forward Roman Yaremchuk has been playing for Olympiacos since this season. He has already managed to score his debut goal for his new club in the second round match of the Greek Super League against Athens Kallithea (2:1).

Olympiacos started the Greek Super League with three wins and is first in the league according to additional indicators, ahead of PAOK.
