The Ukrainian national team arrived in Prague for the Nations League games

Sergei Rebrov’s team has already had its first training session in the capital of the Czech Republic, where two matches of the tournament will take place.

The Ukrainian national team gathered and officially began the target preparations for the September matches of the 2024/2025 Nations League.

According to the UAF website, on Sunday, September 1, Dynamo representatives went to Chisinau from Kyiv, and Shakhtar players went to the capital of Moldova from Krivoy Rog. On Monday morning, the UPL players flew to Prague, where they were gradually joined by foreign players.

On the same day, the team held their first training session, in which performers who did not have enough workload in their clubs last weekend and goalkeepers took part.

Composition of the Ukrainian national team:

Goalkeepers: Georgy Bushchan (Dynamo Kyiv), Anatoly Trubin (Benfica Lisbon, Portugal), Andrey Lunin (Real Madrid, Spain).

Defenders: Nikolay Matvienko, Efim Konoplya, Valeriy Bondar (all – Shakhtar Donetsk), Alexander Timchik, Denis Popov (both – Dynamo Kyiv), Vitaly Mykolenko (Everton Liverpool, England), Ilya Zabarny (Bournemouth, England), Maxim Taloverov ( LASK Linz, Austria).

Midfielders: Andrey Yarmolenko, Nikolay Shaparenko, Vladimir Brazhko, Vladislav Kabaev, Alexander Pikhalenok (all Dynamo Kyiv), Taras Stepanenko, Georgy Sudakov (both Shakhtar Donetsk), Alexander Zinchenko (Arsenal London, England), Mikhail Mudryk (Chelsea London, England) , Sergei Sidorchuk (Westerlo, Belgium), Ruslan Malinovsky (Genoa Genoa, Italy), Victor Tsygankov (Girona, Spain).

Forwards: Artem Dovbik (Roma Rome, Italy), Roman Yaremchuk (Olympiacos Piraeus, Greece), Vladislav Vanat (Dynamo Kyiv).

We remind you that in September the Ukrainian national team will play two matches in Group B1 of the 2024/2025 Nations League. They will both take place in Prague. On September 7, the blue-yellows will host Albania at the Epet Arena, and on September 10 at the Eden Arena they will play an away game against the Czech Republic.
