The first legionnaire at the club in three seasons
BC Zaporozhye signed an American legionnaire Sivon Traylor. This is the club’s first foreign player since the 2021/22 season.
The 24-year-old player (196 cm) previously played for the University of Peru – State College team. Last season, he spent an average of 35 minutes on the court, scoring 15.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists.
Traylor can play either guard or small forward and shot 45.2 percent from three-point range in his final season in college.
Earlier, Serafim Novikov, Vladislav Nikolaychuk and Sergey Skira joined Valeriy Plekhanov’s team. Another newcomer to the Zaporizhzhya team was former Prometey forward Alexander Petrenko.
BC Zaporizhzhya took fifth place in the regular championship of the FAVBET Super League-2023/24. In the playoffs, Valeriy Plekhanov’s team lost to Cherkasy Monkeys in the quarterfinals.
