The young Georgian was acquired by the Miners earlier this year, but has not yet made his debut for Pusic’s team
Chernomorets announced the signing of another newcomer – a defender Miner Luka LatsabidzeThe Georgian footballer joined the Odessa club on loan until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Latsabidze is 20 years old. He is a product of the Tbilisi Dynamo Academy, where he began his professional career. The 193-meter-tall central defender joined the ranks of the Ukrainian champions in February 2024, signing a five-year contract. Since then, Luka has been included in the UPL match roster three times, but has yet to make his debut for the Miners.
In August, Latsabidze was included in Shakhtar’s application for the 2024/25 UPL. In Chornomorets, the young centerback will play under number 34.
The Odessans, led by Oleksandr Babich, did not start the season very successfully – three points and four defeats in five rounds. Chornomorets also dropped out of the Ukrainian Cup after a crushing defeat to Karpaty (0:3). In the next round, the Moryaki will play away against Ingulets on September 14.
