UEFA has decided on the dates of the matches between Dynamo and Benfica in the playoff round for the main stage of the Champions League.
According to the official website of the White-Blues, the following dates have been approved for the clash between the teams of Kyiv and Lisbon: the first meeting, which will formally be the home of Dynamo, will traditionally take place in Polish Lodz in Mejski stadium. The game starts on Wednesday, August 17 at 22:00 Kyiv time.
The second leg will take place on Tuesday, August 23, in Portugal, at the Estadio do Benfica in Lisbon. The beginning of the meeting is at 22:00 Kyiv time.
The winner of the two-legged confrontation will enter the Champions League group stage, while the losing team will enter the Europa League group stage.
It will be remembered that Dynamo beat the Austrian Sturm 2:1 on the road. The Kyiv team scored both goals in extra time. Today, in the playoffs of the tournament qualifiers, the Kyivans will meet with Benfica.
