Forward Everton Armando Broja due to injury will not play for Albania in the match League of Nations against Ukraine.
The 22-year-old did not arrive for the national team due to an Achilles problem and was replaced on the list of players called up by Granada forward Mirto Uzuni.
Earlier it was also reported that due to injury, the leading defender of the Albanian national team, Berat Djimsiti (who represents Atalanta at club level), will not play in the match with Ukraine.
Albania will begin their journey in the new Nations League season on June 7 against Ukraine in Prague (tickets on sale now). Three days later, Sylvinho’s team will host Georgia in Tirana.
The blue-yellows, we recall, will hold both opening matches in Prague. On September 10, the team of Sergei Rebrov will play the Czech Republic at the same stadium “Epet Arena”. Tickets for this match can be purchased on the official website.
In October, Ukraine will play Georgia in Poznan, after which it will play the second match against the Czech Republic in Wroclaw. Ukraine will play the final two rounds of Group B1 of the 2024/2025 Nations League in November of this year.
