Rowe became the second legionnaire in the Zaporizhzhya club
BC Zaporozhye signed the American defender Sami Rowe.
Sami Rowe attended and received his basketball education at four institutions: Palm Beach State University (Florida), Graceland University (Iowa), Omaha University (Nebraska), and Kansas College.
During his final college season, Rowe averaged 13.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game in 24 games and played about 31 minutes per game.
His father, Lou Rowe, played in the NBA for the Detroit Pistons and Golden State Warriors in the 1990s.
Sami Rowe became the second legionnaire in the BC Zaporizhzhya team – the day before yesterday, the American Sivon Taylor became the team’s newcomer.
Earlier, Serafim Novikov, Vladislav Nikolaychuk and Sergey Skira joined Valeriy Plekhanov’s team. Another newcomer to the Zaporizhzhya team was former Prometey forward Alexander Petrenko.
BC Zaporizhzhya took fifth place in the regular championship of the FAVBET Super League-2023/24. In the playoffs, Valeriy Plekhanov’s team lost to Cherkasy Monkeys in the quarterfinals.
