Ukrainians to play first match of 2024/25 Nations League on September 7
Defender Ukrainian national team Ilya Zabarny spoke about his readiness before the matches with Albania And Czech Republic V Nations League 2024/25.
“I feel good. I think that from the first day all the players of the national team switched over, and I am no exception. Everyone understands what tasks are ahead of us, so we are preparing hard.”
“We sometimes talk about the European Championship, because not everything went the way we wanted at the Euro. In terms of the result, our performance was not very positive, but in terms of the experience that we need, and for our country in these difficult times, it was very important.”
“We haven’t analyzed the opponents yet, but the games will be tough – that’s 100%. We’ll be preparing for that. We understand that there can be no excuses! We’ll go out and win.”
Ukraine will begin their journey in the new Nations League season on September 7 against Albania in Prague (tickets are already on sale).
The blue-yellows, we recall, will hold both opening matches in Prague. On September 10, Sergey Rebrov’s charges will play the Czech Republic at the same stadium “Epet Arena”. Tickets for this match can be purchased on the official website.
In October, Ukraine will play Georgia in Poznan, after which it will play the second match against the Czech Republic in Wroclaw. Ukraine will play the final two rounds of Group B1 of the 2024/2025 Nations League in November of this year.
