He was subsequently diagnosed with a torn meniscus in his knee and anterior cruciate ligament injury, ending the Brazilian’s season early.
In the 2023/24 season, Neymar played only 5 matches for Al-Hilal, scoring one goal and making three assists. In 2025, the forward intends to return to Santos.
Al-Hilal started the 2024/25 season by winning the Saudi Arabian Super Cup, while in the national championship, Jorge Jesus’ team started with victories in both opening rounds.
