Minay announced the departure of the goalkeeper Alexandra Bandurawhose contract was terminated by mutual agreement of the parties.
The 38-year-old goalkeeper has played for Minaj since February 2022. In total, he played 50 matches for the Transcarpathian club, managing to keep a clean sheet in 13 of them.
Bandura also played for Donetsk Metalurh, Kamensk Stal, Veres, FC Lviv and Rukh.
Bandura’s last match for Minaj was a home match against Nyva T, which the Transcarpathians lost with a score of 0:2. It was reported that after this game Minaj was conducting an internal investigation, and the players were tested on a polygraph for the possible “fixed” nature of the match.
In the last three matches of the First League, Zeljko Ljubenovic’s team has earned only one point, and in the Group A standings they are in sixth place.
Minaj will play his next match on September 11 at home against Epicenter.
