Famous Ukrainian coach Myron Markevich commented on the unsuccessful start of the Ukrainian national team in the League of Nations. At the same time, Markevich called on the current coach of the national team, Serhiy Rebrov, to remain in his position.

On September 7, the blue-yellows suffered a 1:2 defeat to Albania in a formally home match of the 1st round of Group B1 of the 2024/25 Nations League. Rebrov’s team also lost to the Czech Republic in a high-scoring match of the 2nd round (2:3).
In October, Ukraine will play Georgia in Poznan, after which it will play the second match against the Czech Republic in Wroclaw. Ukraine will play the final two rounds of Group B1 of the 2024/2025 Nations League in November of this year.
