Lokomotiv Moscow football player Alexei Batrakov called the attacker Artem Dzyuba a great player by Russian football standards.
Dziuba is 36 years old; in May he left the “red-greens” after the end of his contract and has been a free agent since then.
— You managed to play with Dzyuba. Timur Suleymanov, for example, said that Artem helped him improve his scoring instinct. Did you manage to learn something from Dzyuba?
— It was a pleasure to play with a great player by the standards of Russian football. I enjoyed the moments we spent together as a team. He definitely has a winning mentality – Artem is always focused on winning. Even when they played mini-football in training, Artem always wanted to win. This trait in him is captivating. “I adopted something from him,” Batrakov told RB Sport.
Dzyuba is the top scorer in the history of the Russian championship, with 160 goals to his name.
