The Ukrainian youth football team beat Northern Ireland in another qualifying match.
The Ukrainian U-21 youth team has guaranteed itself access to the final round of the 2025 European Championship. This happened after our team won the next qualifying match.
The Blue-Yellows beat Northern Ireland 2:1 away. Even in the first half, Unai Melgosa’s team got a pretty good advantage for themselves.
Two goals flew into the opponent’s goal duet with Dynamo Kyiv – Nazar Voloshin and Maxim Bragaru – scored.
The game went to a confident victory for our team, however, the team was disappointed by its captain Arseniy Batagov. The Trabzonspor footballer did not play well in defense and committed a very rude foul in the penalty area and received a red card. In addition, the hosts converted a penalty.
The last 10 minutes of the match were nervous for the Ukrainians, but they managed to maintain their advantage.
