Athletistic / Football. Kazakhstan national football team head coach Stanislav Cherchesov shared his opinion on the transfer of striker Artyom Dzyuba to Akron. According to Cherchesov, Dzyuba and the club itself made the right choice.

The former Russian national team coach believes the 36-year-old forward, who joined Akron as a free agent, will benefit his new team.

Dzyuba commented on the move to Akron

“I have been following this team for a long time, which is coached by my compatriot. I was at his first match with Lokomotiv, it is a playful team that can still surprise with its ambitions. And this club suits Artyom, because Akron plays football. So he will have chances to score and show results,” Cherchesov is quoted by TASS.
