Raul’s previous record had stood since October 1995
Forward Real Endrik became the youngest goal scorer in the history of Blancos in international tournaments.
Yesterday, the Brazilian scored a hat-trick against Stuttgart (3:1) in the opening round of the Champions League group stage at the age of 18 years and 58 days. In doing so, Hendrik surpassed the achievement of the legendary Raul, who scored a hat-trick against Ferencvaros in October 1995 at the age of 18 years and 113 days.
For Endrik, this is only his second goal in official matches for Real, but his first goal was also historic. Back then, the Brazilian forward scored in La Liga against Valladolid (3:0), becoming the youngest foreign player to score for Real. Endrik set that record at the age of 18 years and 35 days.
Real announced the transfer of Hendrick back in December 2022. On July 21, 2024, the Brazilian reached the age of majority and became a full-fledged player of the Madrid club, with which he signed a six-year contract.
Endrik is a product of Palmeiras, where he played 82 matches in all tournaments. In them, the forward scored 21 goals and made 4 assists.
Endrick also managed to play 11 matches for the Brazilian national team, scoring three goals. Together with the Selecao, he took part in the 2024 Copa America, but left the tournament at the quarter-final stage after losing in a penalty shootout to Uruguay.
Real will play their next match on September 21, when Carlo Ancelotti’s team will host Espanyol at home in La Liga.
