Terzic, Potter and Juric in contention for Roma head coach position

The head coach position became vacant today after the dismissal of Daniele De Rossi

Edin Terzic, Graham Potter And Ivan Yurich are vying for the post of head coach Roma.

The head coach position became vacant today following the dismissal of Daniele De Rossi. The 41-year-old has been in charge of Roma since January 2024.

Edin Terzic left Borussia D following last season. In the last Champions League, he led the team to the final of the tournament, where they lost to Real Madrid (0:2).

Graham Potter has been out of work since April 2023, when he left his post as Chelsea manager. The specialist achieved his greatest success at Brighton, which he headed from 2019 to 2022 – together with the Seagulls, Potter made it to the Europa League.

Another contender is Ivan Juric, who left Torino in the summer of 2024. The 49-year-old Croatian has spent his entire coaching career in Italy – in addition to Torino, he previously headed Crotone, Genoa and Verona.

Roma have not won a single game in their first four Serie A matches, with three draws and a shock home defeat to Empoli.

Since August 2024, the Romans have had Ukrainian national team forward Artem Dovbyk as a player, having taken part in all 4 of Roma’s matches in Serie A, scoring his debut goal in the away match of the last round against Genoa (1:1).

Roma will play their next match on September 22 at home against surprise Serie A leaders Udinese.
