French forward scores in Real Madrid’s match against Stuttgart

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe surpassed the former Ukrainian forward and now president of the Ukrainian Football Association, Andrey Shevchenko on the list of the best scorers in the history of the Champions League.

The Frenchman opened the scoring in the Blancos match against Stuttgart (3:1). For Kylian, this is the 49th goal in the Champions League; the forward shares ninth place in the list of the tournament’s best scorers in history with Alfredo Di Stefano. Shevchenko and Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic have 48 goals each.

Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo tops the list with 140 goals in 183 Champions League appearances. The top three scorers also include Lionel Messi (129 goals) and Robert Lewandowski (94 goals).
