The leadership of the Roman team decided to appoint the Croatian specialist Ivan Juric as a mentor.
Former Torino coach Ivan Juric has been appointed as Roma’s new head coach.
The Club of Rome officially announced the start of cooperation with the 49-year-old Croatian specialist. Juric signed a contract with the Romans until June 30, 2025.
The specialist began his career in 2014 at the head of Montova. The Croatian took over Crotone and led the club to Serie A, but made his debut in the top division at the helm of Genoa.
From 2019 to 2021, Juric coached Verona, after which he became a mentor at Torino, who left him in June this year.
At the head of the Roman team, the Croatian will replace Daniele de Rossi, who was dismissed the day before.
We remind you that after four rounds Roma is in 16th place in the Serie A standings, having gained only three points.
In addition, the Roman club will be Dynamo’s opponent in the third round of the Europa League. The fight will take place in Rome on October 24.
