With the Milan coach Paulo Fonseca a conflict arose with Zlatan Ibrahimovic who serves as advisor to the team owner, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.
According to the publication, one of the episodes of the conflict was Fonseca’s statement that Milan’s transfer window had been closed after the transfer of Yussuf Fofana. Subsequently, Ibrahimovic said that the window would close when he decided to do so. The coach did not like it.
Ibrahimovic has also twice gathered a team without Fonseca and asked the players about their relationship with the coach. In one of them, Zlatan said he remained in charge.
Milan have scored five points from four matches in the Italian Championship and are in tenth place in the standings. On September 22, Milan will play against Inter.
