The duo took second place in ice dancing
Ukrainian dance duo Irina Pidgaina And Artem Koval won silver at the fourth stage of the junior series Grand Prix of Figure Skatingwhich took place in Ankara.
The Ukrainians successfully performed in the rhythmic dance, scoring 63.63 points, and became the leaders of the competition. However, the judges rated the free program with the third result (93.38 points), which pushed Irina and Artem to second place.
Gold was won by Darya Grimm and Mikhail Savitsky from Germany. Third place went to the US duo Hanna Maria Aboyan/Daniil Veselukhin.
Ukrainian Mark Kulish also competed in Turkey. In single skating among juniors, the Odessa figure skater took 21st place.
Pidgaina and Koval won the Junior Grand Prix in Budapest last season. The duo also won four more international tournaments in the junior category.
