Sports Director “Betis” Manu Fajardo said he does not understand why Spartak striker Willian Jose is not in top form.
Jose, 32, joined Spartak in July from Betis. So far, the Brazilian has spent a total of 181 minutes on the pitch for the “red and whites” in 6 matches across two tournaments.
— Willian Jose barely plays in Russia and Spartak fans want to bring him back to Betis. Is it possible?
– No, because we are not looking for a player to play as a striker. We are happy with our entire team and happy for Willian. His return to Betis is impossible.

– No, that’s absolutely not true. Honestly, I don’t listen to stuff like that. We gave a good footballer, but I don’t know why he’s in bad shape now. That question is not for me,” Fajardo said, as quoted by Sport24.
