In the second half, Milan played more dangerously near the opponents’ goal. The Rossoneri created more chances and converted their advantage into a goal at the end of the match. Matteo Gabbia took advantage of an error by Inter’s defense and brought victory to his team.
Inter and Milan have eight points each. The Nerrazzuri remain ahead in sixth place thanks to additional indicators. Milan are seventh.
Inter will play Udinese away in their next round on September 28. Milan will host Lecce the day before.
