Kolos (Kovalivka) – Zorya (Lugansk) ‒ 1:0
Shakhtar (Donetsk) – Obolon (Kyiv) – 4:0

INRatar – Alexey Palamarchuk (Ingulets)

There were many good goalkeeping performances, but Palamarchuk cannot be ignored – even with two missed goals (especially since he missed from Klets after a save from a follow-up, and from Mrvalevich – only from a re-taken penalty). The Ingulets goalkeeper made 10 crazy saves, stopping point-blank shots from Stepanyuk and Luan, and curved and aimed shots from Sharai, the same Stepanyuk, and also Gaiduchik. This away draw for the UPL newcomer would have been simply impossible after Oleksiy’s impressive play.

PrSecond defender – Nikita Kravchenko (FC Alexandria)

Kravchenko had a great match against Left Bank. Firstly, he coped with the well-coordinated and fast connection on the Kiev flank. Secondly, he himself worked well on the flank, actively supported Bezerra, and was also involved in both goals of his team. Defenders Kampusch and Shabanov scored after Nikita’s crosses from the corner flag, and he made a lot of crosses from play and from set pieces in this victorious match.

ThisCentral defender – Miguel Campos (FC Alexandria)

The Portuguese opened the scoring in the match against Left Bank, finishing a corner from Kravchenko and converting the hosts’ majority soon after the break. This was no accident, because Kampusch repeatedly went to the opponent’s goal and twice shot at the goal of the capital team – a debutant of the UPL. Miguel also played convincingly in defense – both in single combats (especially aerial ones), and in the game of interception and ball retrieval.

ThisCentral defender – Vladimir Vilivald (Ingulets)

Kryvbas is now forced to experiment with the center of defense, putting players of other roles there, and Vilivald, who was loaned to Ingulets, scored his second goal in three games for the UPL newcomer team. Vladimir only celebrated his 20th birthday during the reporting round, but at the same time he plays quite convincingly in defense of the Petrovsk club, which was forced to experiment in this round, for example, by trying out some players in positions that are not theirs.

LeFirst defender – Taras Sakiv (Karpaty)

Sakiv had an extremely difficult match in Odessa. Firstly, he withstood the pressure of the Butko-Kaio duo (and generally convincingly, with the exception of the moment when the Brazilian broke through the free space). Secondly, he joined the attacks well and made crosses (it is enough to remember how he passed to Stenio, who, strictly speaking, was obliged to score from that position). Thirdly, using his filigree ball control and his striking left foot, it was Taras who scored the winning goal against Chornomorets (see the nomination “Goal of the Tour”).

ThisCentral midfielder – Dmitry Klets (Veres)

Let’s be honest: the Rivne midfield played very hard against Ingulets, and until Shandruk dared to make a triple substitution at half-time, the hosts had serious problems in the center of the field, which they managed to solve only gradually. It was Klets and Kucherov who contributed significantly to the stabilization of the midfield. And also – he took on the role of a leader, joined forward, shot several times from different positions. Thanks to a powerful strike and athletic persistence, he won back the first goal, inspiring Veres to a strong-willed draw.

Prsecond midfielder – Alexey Gutsulyak (Polesie)

The “Wolves” were losing to LNZ at home, but they improved significantly during the game and managed to draw the match. And again we are talking about the high individual qualities of the leading players of Polesie. Especially Gutsulyak: he boldly beat his opponents, earned set pieces several times, managed to make flank passes and created danger himself. He shot at the goal of the Cherkasy team four times and eventually equalized the score at the very end with a pass from Mustafayev.

Atdefensive midfielder – Georgiy Sudakov (Shakhtar)

We have a difficult choice, because the Shakhtar midfield generally outplayed their opponents and created moment after moment, working like a well-oiled engine. It is especially worth mentioning Sudakov, who gushed with thoughtful game decisions and was constantly in the center of events. His teammates could have scored from his passes on several occasions (remember only the particularly thin belts on Bondarenko and Eginaldo). Georgiy himself also found himself in scoring positions several times. In particular, he hit the post, after which Traore scored from the follow-up, and then scored himself after a solo run from a pass by Lassina.

Lefirst midfielder – Maxim Tretyakov (Kolos)

Tretyakov scores for the second round in a row. This is not surprising – from the very beginning of the match with Zorya, when he forced the visiting goalkeeper Turbaevsky into the game with a long-range shot, Maxim remained an active participant in the combination game of Pozdeev’s team. After the break, when the substitutions began to enliven Kolos’s game, Tretyakov closed the flank pass by Alefirenko, and it was this goal that brought victory over a difficult opponent, whom Kolos had not beaten at home since the full-scale invasion.

Onfalling – Samson Iede Onomigo (Vorskla)

The former Chernomorets striker settled in gradually in his new team, but he was slow in scoring. But now he has scored two matches in a row. In Krivoy Rog, Iede was already remembered in the first half for his tenacity, persistence and ability to break into a scoring position (remember the moment in the 22nd minute, when he tested goalkeeper Klishchuk for the first time). And just before the break, Samson did a great job after a cross from Kane and opened the scoring.

Onfalling – Daniel Sosa (Kryvbas)

After the sale of Prince Adu and the departure of Debelko, Sosa moved to the forefront and won the competition with Kozhushko. Of course, because he is a very hard-working, persistent striker. Daniel does a lot of work, looks for his chance, plays along with his teammates. It was he who, at a critical moment, when Vorskla took the lead before the break, reacted brilliantly in a situation with a penalty. When Po hit the post, Sosa worked on the rebound. This goal in the locker room ultimately deprived the visitors of three points, although Kryvbas did not hold on for the victory.

Scandal of the tour

Well, it’s obvious right away: he didn’t score! / photo fc-lnz.com

Tour coach – Alexander Pozdeev (Kolos)

The Kovalevsky club won its first victory in the current championship and the new season as a whole, and the well-coordinated game in the match with Zorya showed that Kolos is increasingly studying all the features of Pozdeev’s football. With an advantage in possession, the number and accuracy of shots, the hosts failed to score against the Lugansk team for quite a long time, and here the castling from the coaching staff helped. In particular, it was Kolos’ first substitution – Alefirenko – who became the co-author of Tretyakov’s decisive goal.

Joker of the tour – Dmitry Klets (Veres)

Not a bad tour for the jokers: Donetsk’s Neverton, Rivne’s Marko Mrvalevich and Dmitry Klets scored, and Zhitomir’s Emil Mustafayev and Kovalev’s Danilo Alefirenko provided assists after coming on as substitutes.

But the best substitutions in this round are about Shandruk. Klets and Mrvalevich scored after coming on as substitutions, and Godya earned a penalty for the second goal. Veres scored two goals, although until the 66th minute, Ingulets was “burning” at home with two goals. It was Klets who started this comeback, returning hope to the Rivne team with a tasty finish, and then remained active, performed set pieces, and shot.

  • SportArena statistics: 1 match in the championship, 1 goal.

Best young player of the tour – Dmitry Ledviy (Rukh)

More and more young players are showing good results in the UPL among adults, but Rukh still never ceases to amaze. The team plays with a defense of players born in 2002-2004, and to this is added an equally young support zone and goalkeeper. Here is 21-year-old Ledviy: out of six matches of this championship, he has conceded in only one, and his “dry” streak has reached 360 minutes and continues! Yes, Dynamo did not play the best against the “lions” and only hit the target of Dmitry’s goal twice, but he saved both shots and continued to play without conceding goals. One more match – and there will be the best streak in the last two seasons, two more matches – and for the entire time since the start of a full-scale war!

  • SportArena statistics: 6 matches in the championship, 3 goals conceded, 5 clean sheets.

The best legionnaire of the round is Lassina Traore (Shakhtar)

Great news for Shakhtar – Burkina Faso Traore is fine and ready to compete with other forwards. In the reporting round, Lassina scored against Oboloni himself with a bold follow-up and started the next – fourth in a row – scoring combination, connecting Neverton, who put an end to the match with a brilliant dribble.

  • SportArena statistics: 6 matches in the championship, 1 goal, 1 assist.

Best goal of the round – Taras Sakiv (Karpaty → Chornomorets)

In this round, Shakhtar Bondarenko and Vorskla’s Iede scored very well, but our choice is a classic free kick from Sakiv. The goal can be seen on video.

  • SportArena.com statistics: 4 matches in the championship, 1 goal.

Hero of the round – Nikita Kravchenko (FC Alexandria)

Left Bank resisted Alexandria for a long time, but while short-handed they conceded two goals – both from set pieces by Kravchenko.

  • SportArena statistics: 6 matches in the championship, 4 assists.
