Ukrainian missed Toffees’ last two matches due to illness
Defender Everton Vitaly Mikolenko started training with the team’s general group.
Along with the Ukrainian, defenders Jarred Branthwaite and Nathan Patterson, as well as midfielder Idrissa Gueye, have returned to training.
Let us recall that Mykolenko was substituted on September 14 in the first half of the Premier League match against Aston Villa (2:3), after which he was not included in the squad for the League Cup match against Southampton, and also missed the Premier League match against Leicester. Toffees coach Sean Dyche spoke about the Ukrainian defender’s illness.
Vitaly has played in five matches this season and made one assist.
Everton have picked up just one point from their opening five Premier League games, leaving Dyche’s men second-to-last in 19th place.
The Toffees next play at home to Crystal Palace on September 28.
