Enzo Maresca’s team had no trouble against the fourth division team
The duel took place 1/16 finals of the English League Cup — Chelsea defeated a League 2 club (the fourth-strongest English division) at home Barrow (5:0).
By the 28th minute of the match, Chelsea had scored three times – Christopher Nkunku scored twice, and another goal was scored as a result of an own goal.
Pedro Neto scored in the 48th minute, assisted by Mykhailo Mudryk. The Ukrainian winger was in the starting lineup for Chelsea and played the entire 90 minutes.
The final point in the match was put by the same Nkunku in the 75th minute, who scored a hat-trick.
Earlier, Yegor Yarmolyuk’s Brentford made it to the 1/8 finals of the League Cup, but Vitaliy Mykolenko’s Everton lost to Southampton and dropped out of the fight for the trophy.
