Carlo Ancelotti’s team allowed their opponent to restore the intrigue towards the end of the match
On Santiago Bernabeu the 7th round match took place La Liga – Madrid Real won a victory over Alaves (3:2).
The score was opened in the first minute of the match by Lucas Vazquez, who came out for the game wearing the captain’s armband. At the end of the half, Kylian Mbappe doubled the Blancos’ advantage.
The third goal was scored by Real in the 48th minute – the same Lucas Vazquez assisted Rodrigo.
When it seemed that the game was slowly heading towards its logical conclusion, Alaves managed to bring back the intrigue. Between the 85th and 87th minutes, they scored twice (Carlos Benavides and Quique Garcia scored), but the visitors still failed to perform a miracle and cling to the points.
It should be noted that Real Madrid’s Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin spent the entire match on the bench.
Thanks to today’s victory, Carlo Ancelotti’s team rose to second place in the standings. The Blancos are one point behind the leaders Barcelona, and the Catalans will play their 7th round match of La Liga tomorrow against Getafe.
