Argentine missed Serie A match against Fiorentina due to injury
Forward Lazio Tati Castellanos has a chance to play with Dynamo in the match Europa Leagues.
The 25-year-old Argentine has returned to training with the team’s general group and will travel with them to Hamburg for the match against Dynamo.
Tati Castellanos was in the shadow of Ciro Immobile last season, but after his departure to Besiktas, he became the main forward of the Romans. In four matches of this Serie A season, Tati scored three goals, and in September he received his debut call-up to the Argentina national team for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Chile (3:0) and Colombia (1:2).
This is only Castellanos’ third season in European football. In 2022, he moved from New York City on loan to Girona, where he was able to show himself very brightly (13 goals in 35 La Liga matches, including a quartet against Real Madrid). In the summer of 2023, Lazio bought Castellanos’ contract from New York City for 15 million euros.
The home match for Dynamo against Lazio will take place in Hamburg on September 25. The match will start at 22:00. The match will be refereed by Greek referee Tasos Sidiropoulos, and the live broadcast of the game will be on MEGOGO — the game will be commented on by Sergey Lukyanenko and Gleb Skripchenko.
Let us recall that Lazio suffered a defeat from Fiorentina (1:2) before the match with Dynamo. The Kievans tied with Rukh (0:0) in their last game in the Ukrainian championship.
The general stage of the LE will start on September 25-26, 2024, and will end on January 30, 2025. Points will be counted in the general table. The eight best teams will go directly to the 1/8 finals. The remaining eight tickets will be played out in the knockout round among the teams that took 9th-24th places. The teams that took 25th-36th places will stop competing in European cups.
