The Ukrainian lost to Viktoria Tomova in two sets
Ukrainian tennis player Lesya Tsurenko finished performing at WTA 1000 in Beijing (China).
At the start of the main draw, the Ukrainian lost to the representative of Bulgaria, Victoria Tomova, in two sets. The match lasted one hour and 28 minutes.
Both games ended with the same score 6:3 in favor of Tomova. Victoria will play against the Spanish Paula Badosa in the second round.
Ukraine will also be represented at the tournament by other tennis players. Angelina Kalinina will play against Bernarda Pera from the USA in the first round. The winner of the qualification Yulia Starodubtseva will fight against the German Laura Siegemund. Marta Kostyuk and Dayana Yastremska will begin their journey at the tournament in Beijing from the second round.
