Ukrainian loses to Rebecca Sramkova from Slovakia
Ukrainian tennis player Angelina Kalinina lost in the first round of the tournament WTA 1000 V Beijing.
Angelina faced Rebecca Šramková. The Slovak got into the main round from the alternative list, replacing Bernarda Peru from the USA, who was originally supposed to play the Ukrainian.
In the first set, Kalinina lost two of her serves, taking one from her opponent. In the second set, there was no fight, Angelina lost the set “to zero”.
Lesia Tsurenko had earlier dropped out of the tournament in Beijing. Yulia Starodubtseva, who had made it to the main draw through the qualification, had made it through the first round. Marta Kostyuk and Dayana Yastremska will start their performances straight from the second round.
