September 25 Dynamo and Lazio will spend their fifth face-to-face match in European competitionsThe teams last met in Kyiv at the NSC Olympic on March 15, 2018 in the return match of the 1/8 finals of the Europa League. In the Kiev match with Lazio, the then Dynamo coach Oleksandr Khatskevich fielded the following players: Boyko – Pivarich, Kadar, Burda, Kendzhera – Shepelev, Buyalsky, Tsygankov, Morozyuk – Besedin, Moraes. Shabanov, Gonzalez and Mbokani came on as substitutes. Rudko, Khacheridi, Alibekov and Shaparenko remained in reserve.

There are still three players on the Kiev roster – Shepelev, Buyalsky and Shaparenko. However, the first one will not play against Lazio again.

As for Lazio, Simone Inzaghi, who led the Romans, used the following players in the Kiev match. The starting lineup included: Strakosha – De Vrij, Luis Felipe, Radu – Parolo, Lucas Leiva, Luis Alberto, Lulic, Patric – Immobile, Felipe Anderson. Jordan Lukaku, Adam Marusic and Caicedo came on as substitutes. Guerrieri, Bastos, Murgia and Nani remained on the bench.

Of these players, two footballers remained in Lazio’s application: 33-year-old Spaniard Patrich, who has been playing for the club since 2015, and 31-year-old Montenegrin Adam Marusic, who appeared in the Eagles’ squad in 2017.

It is worth noting, however, that two players who took part in the Kiev match between Dynamo and Lazio left Rome this summer: Luis Alberto went to Al-Duhail from Doha for 10.5 million euros, and Felipe Anderson went to Palmeiras as a free agent.

The match in Kyiv became the sixth “dry” for Lazio in confrontations with Ukrainian clubs. In total, our teams scored seven goals against the Romans: Shakhtar and Chornomorets – one each (Vorobey and Doroshenko, respectively), Dnipro – two (Bruno Gama and Yevhen Seleznyov), Dynamo – three (Rebrov, Tsygankov and Moraes). Junior Moraes, who equalized the score in the match against Lazio in Rome on March 8, 2018, remains the last Ukrainian to leave his “autograph” in the goal of the Eagles.
