The match between Zorya and Universitatey will take place today and will start at 20:30 Kyiv time
Head Coach Zarya Patrick van Leeuwen commented on the upcoming second leg of the third qualifying round Conference League against the Romanian Universitati.
“We had the same preparation as for the last match. The team is performing the way I would like. For us, this is the second official game. We prepared very seriously. The guys work well in training and in all the matches that we played. Therefore, everything will be fine with us.”
“It is quite natural for football when a coach changes in a team. It doesn’t change anything for us. A new coach for their team might make a difference, but not much for us, I think.”
“From a tactical point of view, it will be a completely different game, because this is the second match. We are considered leaders, because we won the first match. We are determined to keep our advantage and go further. We are preparing for this, we train every day. Of course, this game will be different. We are ready for it.”
Recall that before the match with Zorya, Mirel Redoy became the new coach of Universitati. The contract with Redoy runs until 2024. Mirel replaced Laszlo Balint, who has been in charge of the team since June.
The match between Zorya and Universitatey will take place today and will start at 20:30 Kyiv time.
Recall that in the first match Zorya minimally beat the University (1:0). If successful, Zorya will play with the winner of the Lugano-Hapoel Beersheba pair.
