Arsenal won confidently on his home field Bolton in the 1/16 final match English League Cup — 5:1.
The Gunners scored twice in the first half through Declan Rice and Ethan Nwaneri, with the 17-year-old midfielder netting twice after the break.
Bolton responded with a fine strike from Aaron Collins, but the visitors could not get any more. Raheem Sterling and Kai Havertz added two more goals for Arsenal to complete the rout.
It is worth noting that 16-year-old goalkeeper Jack Porter played the entire match for Arsenal. He became the youngest player in the Gunners’ starting lineup in history.
Ukrainian defender Oleksandr Zinchenko missed the match against Bolton. He continues to recover from a muscle injury.
Arsenal’s next game is against Leicester on September 28, while Bolton play Crawley in England’s third tier on the same day.
