The former coach of the Kyiv club commented on the defeat of “white and blue” in the first match of the Europa League.

Dynamo players were not ready for the Europa League level, and therefore lost to Lazio with a devastating score. This is what the former head coach of the Kyiv club Alexander Khatskevich said.

He also named those responsible for the club’s missed goals. According to him, these are not only defenders, but also midfield players.

“The result is negative, the impressions are the same. The boys must understand that in the Europa League you have to move from the second and third gear to the fifth or sixth level, what will happen in the Ukrainian Championship is no longer possible.

In the first half, Dynamo had the ball. However, we pass them, they score for us. Ball control is good, but we need to be more aggressive and think one step ahead. And it is noticeable that Lazio football players are faster in every episode and stronger in martial arts. Unfortunately, our players lost to them in this part.

The first ball is passed in the middle zone. Ceballos did not have time, Timchik did not provide backup, but, from my point of view, it is worth paying attention to the fact that Brazhko played rather passively in this episode.

Ceballos cannot be evaluated based on this game, because at the moment with the first goal he corrected Volodya’s passive actions. Again, there was a whole range of errors or omissions,” the Ukrainian Football portal quoted Khatskevich as saying.

We remind you that Dynamo lost to Lazio in a nominally home match in the Europa League. The Kiev team will play their next UPL game against another capital club on the Left Bank. The match is scheduled for Sunday, September 29.
