The Scottish team qualified for the group stage
Women’s team Vorskla lost Celtic in the second away qualifying match 2024/25 Women’s Champions League – 0:2.
The first half passed without any goals scored. The Scots opened the scoring just after the break thanks to a goal from Emma Lawton. Lauren Agnew then scored the second goal to set the final score.
Let us remind you that in the first match Vorskla lost to Celtic with a score of 0:1. The Scottish team advanced to the group stage of the Women’s Champions League. Let us note that both matches, nominally “home” for the Poltava team and “guest”, took place at the Albert Bartlett Stadium in the city of Airdrie.
Earlier, Kolos dropped out of the Women’s Champions League. The team from Kovalivka lost to Brøndby in a dramatic match.
The draw for the group stage will take place on September 27, and the stage itself is scheduled from October 8 to December 18. The playoffs will take place from March 18 to April 27. The Women’s Champions League final will take place in Lisbon at the Jose Alvalade Stadium in May 2025.
