The Kiev team suffered a crushing defeat with a score of 0:3
Winger Dynamo Vladislav Kabaev commented on the defeat by Lazio (0:3) in the first round of the group stage of the 2024/25 Europa League.
“Completion was not enough. There were many prerequisites for a goal, many shots missed. But… last pass, last blow. Somewhere they missed the leg, somewhere they hit the target. And the opponent had these moments and they took advantage of it. That’s the difference in today’s game.”
“I can’t divulge everything that the coach said during the break. Corrections have been made. There were such words that we should not lower our heads, we are playing for our country. Whatever the score, we must do what we can. And so that they forget the score that we have at this moment.”
“Lazio is a good team and plays in the top 5 leagues. They deserved this victory. But we will draw conclusions, gain some insight and move on. I think that this will only play into our hands in the sense that there are no victories without defeats.”
In the match with Lazio, Dynamo was losing 0:3 by the 35th minute of the match – Bulaye Dia scored a double for the Romans, and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru scored another goal. The teams finished the match with ten men – Maxim Bragaru was sent off as part of Dynamo, and Tijani Noslin was sent off as part of Lazio.
Dynamo will play their next match in the Europa League on October 3 away against Hoffenheim, which started the Europa League with an away draw against Midtylland (1:1).
