Croatian specialist Igor Jovichevich found a new place of work and got a job at Ludogorets.

Croatian coach Igor Jovichevich, known for his work in Ukraine with the Carpathians, Shakhtar and Dnepr-1, has taken over the leadership of Bulgarian Ludogorets. The club announced the appointment of the 50-year-old specialist on its official website.

Details of the deal with Jovicevic were not disclosed. It is reported that at Ludogorets he will work with Ukrainians Andrei Khanas and Yuri Benyo, as well as Spaniards Javier Lobo and Antonio Adan, who are part of his headquarters at Dnepr-1 and Shakhtar.

“It is an honor for me to be the coach of a team like Ludogorets. I hope to achieve high goals with this very good team with great potential,” Jovicevic said after signing the agreement.

We remind you that the last team of the Croatian specialist was Saudi Al-Raed, which he left this summer.

Ludogorets are the reigning champions in Bulgaria, having won the trophy for the 13th time in a row last season. In the current campaign, the team from Razgrad is leading the championship, having the same number of points with Levski, but playing one match less.

Ludogorets also competes in the main stage of the Europa League, where the team started with a home defeat from Slavia Prague.

We remind you that Alexander Shovkovsky previously named the reasons for Dynamo’s heavy defeat from Lazio in the Europa League.
