“Dynamo Moscow is taking giant steps in the right direction, but it takes time” – Batak

Former Dynamo Moscow defender Radoslav Batak believes that the team lacks stability to fight for the championship of the Russian FIRST WORLD LEAGUE (RPL).

The Blue and White, after scoring 17 points in nine matches, occupy fourth place in the Russian Championship standings. The leader is Zenit St. Petersburg, which has 23 points.

“Dynamo” seems unstable. The team lost to Krasnodar, then beat Krylia Sovetov and tied with Orenburg. Last season, the Blue and White also lacked consistency. And the championship is a marathon, stability is important here. A team aspiring to the championship must not lose to clubs significantly weaker than it. The dynamo lacks stability. The club must win the matches in which it is favorite. However, this does not always work.

— “Zenith” is better prepared for the marathon than “Dynamo”?

— Zenit has been constantly updating and strengthening its team for several seasons. Building a team is a long process, and Dynamo, Spartak and CSKA have started it recently. I arrived in Russia in 2003, when CSKA was just starting to build a team with the Berezutsky brothers, Akinfeev, Rakhimich, Olic and Yarosik. The team took time to build, but eventually won the UEFA Cup.

Zenit has been building a team for a long time. Yes, Dynamo is taking giant steps in the right direction, but everything takes time. Last year, the team fought for the championship until the last round. This means that we must continue our development in the same spirit. “Dynamo is just starting to build a team,” Batak said, as quoted by Metaratings.ru.

In the next match, Dynamo will face Dynamo Makhachkala on September 29, the match will start at 19:00 (Moscow time). Watch the live broadcast of the match on the MATCH PREMIER channel, as well as on the sites sportbox.ru and matchtv.ru.
