Arsenal beat Leicester in stoppage time

The Gunners almost lost points in the second round in a row

Arsenal won at home over Lester in the sixth round English Premier League – 4:2.

The Gunners took the initiative in the first half and gained a comfortable two-goal advantage. Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard scored the goals.

At the beginning of the second half, Leicester reduced the gap, and in the 63rd minute they evened the score. The double was designed by James Justin.

However, the guests failed to maintain a positive result. Strikes from Trossard and Kai Havertz in stoppage time earned Arsenal the three points.

Gunners defender Alexander Zinchenko was not included in the squad for the match with Leicester due to injury.

Arsenal have 14 points and are in second place in the standings. Leicester dropped to 16th position.

On October 1, Arsenal will host PSG in the Champions League, and on October 5 they will play at home against Southampton. Leicester face Bournemouth next Saturday.
