The only goal was scored in the 34th minute by Welsh Rangers forward Tom Lawrence.
Just before the break, Hibernian were awarded a penalty – Kukharevich began to take it and was unable to beat Jack Butland from the spot. The 23-year-old Ukrainian was eventually substituted in the 68th minute.
