The Bulls missed the chance to return to first place in Serie A
Lazio in a bright match on the road beat Torino in the sixth round Serie A – 3:2.
The visitors opened the scoring early in the match, with Matteo Guendouzi scoring. The Bulls had the initiative, but could not convert it into goals in the first half.
After the break, Boulaye Dia scored the second goal for the Eagles. Torino finally managed to respond with a goal from Che Adams. The situation became tense, the referees did not spare yellow cards and sent off the hosts’ head coach Paolo Vanoli.
Towards the end of the match, Tizhdani Noslin scored the third goal for the guests. Saul Coco again reduced the gap in stoppage time, but the hosts were unable to save themselves.
Torino missed the chance to return to the top of Serie A. The Bulls are in fourth place with 11 points. Lazio have come close and are in sixth place with ten points.
Torino’s next match will play Inter on October 5. Lazio will host Nice in the Europa League on October 3.
