Two capital football clubs held the first ever Kiev derby in the Premier League.
The day before, the story of confrontations between two other Kyiv clubs began. Left Bank hosted Dynamo in the derby in the eighth round of the Ukrainian Premier League.
Despite the status of the match, the match did not go ahead. Alexander Shovkovsky’s team easily dealt with the debutant of the top division, winning a massive victory with a score of 3:0.
The second goal is even more impressive. After a mistake by the host’s goalkeeper, Vladimir Brazhko managed to score a goal from the middle of the field.
The other two “white-blues” goals are debuts for their authors. For the first time, Taras Mikhavko and Valentin Rubchinsky scored for Dynamo.
