Balotelli is not negotiating with Spanish Alicante and continues to train individually

Ex-forward Italian national team Mario Balotelli does not negotiate with Spanish Alicantecontrary to recent rumors.

The 34-year-old striker is said to be training individually with a personal trainer to keep fit as he awaits his new club.

Balotelli has been a free agent since July 1. His last club was Turkish Adana Demirspor, where the Italian returned in September 2023.

At the beginning of September, it was reported that there was interest in Balotelli from the American San Diego, a future MLS debutant.

Last season, the Italian played 16 matches in the Turkish Super League, in which he scored seven goals and provided one assist. The striker missed a significant part of the campaign due to a knee injury and subsequent surgery.

In addition to Demirspor, Balotelli played for Inter, Manchester City, Milan, Liverpool, Nice, Marseille, Brescia, Monza and Sion during his career. He scored 14 goals and provided five assists in 36 matches for the Italian national team, with which he became European vice-champion in 2012. Mario last played for the national team six years ago.

In September, Balotelli stated that he wanted to return to Serie A. The last time Mario took to the field in the elite Italian division was in 2020, playing for Monza.
